Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal Trek is a perfect blend of adventure, thrill, and tranquility highly suitable for those with tight time schedules. Located towards the east of the very popular Annapurna Base Camp Trekking trail, Mardi Himal Trek is one beautiful opportunity to immerse yourself into nature, which is serene, unspoiled, and appealing.

Opened for tourism in 2012, the Mardi Himal Trek has been one of the highly popular trekking trails as it requires a short time period and does not demand any trekking experience. Mardi Himal Trek is a mesmerizing off-the-beaten trekking experience taking you through the dense green forests of Rhododendron, Pine, Firs, and Deodars while also letting you stay in heart-warming villages of Rai, Limbu, and Gurung cultures. While the beauty of those picturesque villages will spellbind you, you will also be delighted to witness the daily lifestyle as well as the local culture and traditions of the inhabitants.

The trekking trail goes just beneath Mt. Machhapuchhre offering the splendid beauty of the Himalayas and spectacular views of the landscapes. Nilgiri, Machhapuchhre, Tent Peak, Annapurna massif play hide and seek in the backgrounds throughout the trail. The diverse ecosystem, dense forests, waterfalls and streams, and the tempting beauty of the Himalayas are the best aspects of this trek. However, the view of glorious Sunrise from the Mardi Himal Base Camp, also called the Upper Viewpoint is the show-stealer.
