Overview

Pikey Peak Trek is a newly opened trekking route in lower Everest region which invites us to explore the Everest and lower Khumbu region along the dramatically changing landscapes. We will get an opportunity to view the most esteemed Himalayan range in the World which includes mountains like Everest (8848m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Makalu (8463m), Lhotse (8414m) and many other snow-covered peaks. Being a freshly introduced trekking route, it provides the trekkers with the off-beaten trail trekking experience.

Our journey to Pikey Peak starts with a scenic drive to Dhap Bazar from Kathmandu and our trek starts. Though this trail is recently opened, it is one of the most preferred choices for the trekkers because the trail passes from the Lower Khumbu region. The region is known to provide mesmerizing views of Mt. Everest (8848m) and its neighboring peaks although situated at a lower elevation range. Considered as one of the best short treks in contention, the illustrious journey leads to the Pikey Base Camp with the thick spread of rich Buddhist culture along the way. The lush valleys, old monasteries, huge Mani walls, beautiful vegetation and rhododendron forests along with the beautiful sunset and sunrise views are the major attractions of this trekking route. Pikey peak is famous for its tranquil landscapes, unique Sherpa culture, and beautiful mountain views. The trail follows the less crowded areas of Khumbu region, rhododendron forests and small villages. The tranquil landscapes along with the views of Himalayan panorama offer a mystical vibe which attracts a great many numbers of tourists.
